If you read our ‘What's This All About” page, then you know that this blog is an experiment to bring a Phish loving husband and a non Phish loving wife together. Who knows what will happen. This is either gonna be the best thing that ever happened to our marriage, or we’ll be blogging about Couple’s Therapy soon.
Eiether way, we’ll be sharing. I, (Phish Wife), try to have a sense of humor with the whole thing. And I think Phish husband does, too. I mean, anyone who listens to that kind of music, (if you really want to call it that), has to have a sense of humor, right?! Right!
So please read with that in mind. Sometimes I will be making fun of my husband and his obsessions. Sometimes I’ll be trying to make sense of the “music” that Phish plays, and sometimes, I’ll be relaying my complete frustration with the whole thing. But in everything, please know that I ADORE Phish Husband and while I may not get his love for this band, I respect it (mostly). And I am hoping that you can find the humor and fun in my grumpy posts and snide comments. Because that’s what this little blog is all about….having fun with our differences.
And I KNOW I am not the only Phish wife out there who must feel this way. I am sure there are thousands of, (or at least 10), other wives who are also tired of all this Phishy business. Can I get an Amen?!
I am BEGGING you ladies to also speak up! Make sure to leave comments and let these men know that I am not the only one out there. We need to support one another, otherwise these men will run this blog and it will be just another Phish fan site…and Lord know’s we need more of those.
